Orange and Red Celtic Pattern: Tattoo: Wiki’d Nails

Welcome to the first of a new challenge, called the Wiki’d Nails challenge. This is a ten-week challenge, where we get our inspiration from a Wikipedia article. The first article this week is tattoos and I’ve done an orange and red Celtic pattern as a loose interpretation of a popular tattoo design.

I’m not into tattoos myself, so I’m hardly an expert, but I’ve seen similar designs to the one I’ve stamped used as a band around the upper arm. I’m not entirely sure that the image I’ve used is Celtic, but it’s reminiscent of it to me.

The base is yesterday’s Nella Milano Chilli Blaze, and I’ve stamped over it with Mundo de Uñas Red (9) and using an image from Bundle Monster BM12.

I don’t particularly like it, and it’s already off my nails. But I’m easing myself into this challenge gently; some of the prompts look very hard!

If you’d like to join in the challenge, drop Charlie of Pocket Money Polishes a message on her Facebook page and she’ll give you all the info.
