L’Oreal Top Coat Confettis over L’Oreal Insolent Magenta
Well, March is fast becoming a month of new favourites. I decided my new favourite polish was OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook, and now I have a new favourite glitter topper.
This is L’Oreal Confettis, one of four new polishes in their Top Coat range. It’s a clear base glitter top coat that consists of both small and medium matte hex glitter in black and white, plus a smattering of tiny silver glitter.
It needs a bit of dabbing and placing to get the glitters to look even placed, so this is one coat, plus some extra patched up bits.
I have it over L’Oreal Insolent Magenta, and it was great to rejuvenate that previous manicure and also add a bit of interest. I can see me using this polish quite a lot.
And just while I’m still practising with my new lights and light tent, here’s a bottle shot:
- Base: two coats of L’Oreal Insolent Magenta
- Matte glitter coat: one and a bit coats of L’Oreal Top Coat Confettis
- Top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip

I have so many colours I want to try it over. There’s only 5ml in a bottle – I’m going to need another one (or two), I think!
Ooh this is such a lovely combo! x
