Multi-Coloured Stripes: B is for: Bold

So for this week’s A2Z series challenge theme, Bold, I have created some bright stripes.

I started with a white base as I was initially going to do some coloured squares over white, but changed my mind. I picked out some colours that I thought went well together and started by adding the blue, Barry M Blue Grape, and the orange, Barry M Satsuma, at opposite ends of the nails. When they were dry, I taped off my nails and added the turquoise, Barry M Guava.

I had planned on using a yellow too, but thought it looked great with the white so left it as it was. Before I removed this manicure this morning, I added the yellow to see what it would have looked like. I was right – it looks so much nicer with the white.

Ah, thank you. How lovely of you to say that 🙂

Love this color combination! I agree that the white definitely looks better than the yellow probably would have.

Claire Kerr

Yep, the yellow just didn’t do it.
