Rimmel Too Cool To Tango

I’m self employed, and run a couple of companies, one of which is teaching marketing courses. At a workshop last week, one of my delegates was wearing a lovely polish. I asked her what it was and she said it was Rimmel, but wasn’t sure what the name was. In the evening after the course, she tweeted me a picture and confirmed that it was Rimmel Peppermint.

So the next day I excitedly trotted off to Boots to seek it out. On her, it had looked like a pale blue, but when I saw Peppermint, I realised (and should have known from the name anyway!) that it’s a mint green. I have tons of mint greens, so didn’t want to buy it. I was disappointed, but instead saw this pale blue polish, Too Cool To Tango.

This one is from Rimmel’s 60 Seconds collection, which do dry very quickly. Perhaps not quite in 60 seconds, but fast enough for you to need to work quickly. I love the big, fat brushes on these polishes. I’m usually able to paint a nail in two sweeps, and the little nails in just one.  I used three coats. The resulting manicure wasn’t the smoothest I’ve ever seen; this isn’t really a good self-levelling polish, probably because it dries so quickly. But with a top coat, it looked fine.

For this manicure I’ve used:
  • Colour: three coats of Rimmel Too Cool To Tango
  • Top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip
