Gold glitter gradient

I forgot to post these nails last week. They’re what I wore on Christmas Day. But they could be New Year’s Eve nails though, right?

The base looks black but it’s actually W7 Black Cherry, a very dark red. I don’t own Chanel Rouge Noir, but my guess is that this is W7’s take on that polish. Only in sunlight does it look slightly cherry red. The rest of the time it looks black.

The glitter is Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow, which I bought from Lane’s Lacquers in her blog sale a few months ago. It apparently has 24 carat gold dust in it, which you can see in the form of the tiny gold irregular particles.

For this manicure I’ve used:
  • Colour: two coats of W7 Black Cherry
  • Glitter coat: Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow (2 coats on ring finger)
  • Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl
