Orange and cream zigzags with OPI

I wore this manicure back in April, but forgot to post it until now. I painted it for my Mum’s 70th birthday celebrations, and I was going to do all my nails with the zigzags, but simply ran out of time and so I left it at just one accent nail.

The orange is OPI A Roll In the Hague, which is from the 2012 Holland collection. It’s a perfect Dutch orange and has become quite a favourite of mine. I always thought my favourite polish colour was blue or red, but that’s changed recently and I love a bright, cheerful orange now.

I used zigzag guides from Nail Vinyls before adding OPI My Vampire Is Buff.

For this manicure I’ve used:
  • Colour: two coats of OPI A Roll In The Hague
  • Zigzags: Nail Vinyls and OPI My Vampire Is Buff
  • Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

Thank you Cali – and thanks for your comment 🙂

Hello Claire !

Guess what ? Today I have exactly the same manicure as you. Well, OK, it’s the ring finger which has zigzags and the orange polish is Zoya Rocha. But this good old MVIB is there, always present at the call. I applied it as base but I am going to try the opposite, as you.
When I caught a glimpse of your post at lunchtime, it put me of perky humor for the rest of the day. As you can notice it, I do not need a lot to be cheerful. In fact, to have imagined the same manicure as you, I was proud as a peacock (a very small one), but shhh !

Amitiés,
Claire

P.S.: but what we would become if we had no zigzag guides ?

P.P.S.: I need absolutely this OPI, even if we see nothing of how it is exactly, as every orange and red. It’s difficult to find a « true » orange. Dutch orange : brilliant as description. I totally rely on you.

Thanks Debbie 🙂
