Pink, Purple and Blue Gradient Zebra Nails: W is for: Wild

I’m just about back on track and posting on the correct day for the A2Z series challenge. We’re at W, for wild, and I’ve created some pink, purple and blue gradient zebra nails. Bright gradient zebra is a style I’ve seen quite a lot, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it in these colours too, but I can’t say it was inspired by anyone in particular.

The gradient is made with 3 Barry M polishes: Pink Punch, Bright Purple and Cyan Blue. The purple doesn’t stand out very much though; I must have put less of it on the sponge.

I wasn’t sure whether to stamp over the gradient in black or white. My son made the final choice for me, and I think he was right.

I made an error with the top coat though. I always top coat my stamping with H K Girl because it smears the least of all top coats I’ve tried. But I have a brand new bottle of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, and I just grabbed it without thinking. So there’s a bit of smearing, mostly visible on the ring finger nail.

I love it though. I can’t believe I’ve been doing nail art for two and half years and have only just done a bright gradient zebra manicure!

For this manicure I’ve used:
  • Gradient base: Barry M Cotton
  • Gradient: Barry M Pink Punch, Barry M Bright Purple, Barry M Cyan Blue
  • Stamping polish: Konad Black
  • Stamping plate: Bundle Monster BM-223
  • Top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

Awww….this is soooo pretty! Love the color combos and the design is simply amazing as well. Great job and great choice of mani.

Simply in to my nails

I love this! I think the purple is an excellent transition colour between the pink and blue!
