L’Oreal Insolent Magenta
I don’t much like pink nail polish, but there are a few shades of pink that I am drawn to over and over again. Magenta is one colour I always love. This shade of magenta has something special to it though.
This is L’Oreal Color Riche Insolent Magenta. It’s a bright fuschia pink that goes on beautifully in just one coat, although I did two – just habit, I guess, and it also makes for a more perfect finish.
The “special” to this polish is the subtle blue shimmer that it has. It’s very evident in the bottle (you can probably just about see in the pictures, but the bottle was a little shaded, so perhaps not as much as it could have been shown). Anyway, on the nail, it gives the manicure a very shiny appearance, and in sunlight the shimmer really makes the pink pop.
I do love L’Oreal Color Riche polishes. The brush is flattened and quite thick, and is rounded at the end. It always goes on well and lasts without chipping, even though I put my hands through a lot. After a couple of days, there’s sometimes a little tip wear evident, and you do only get 5ml of polish for £4.99, but they are very minor drawbacks for what is, in my opinion, a quality polish.
