Chanel Fortissimo with Silver Geometric Stamping (52 Week Challenge)
This navy blue with silver geometric stamping manicure for the 52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge is a bit of a cop out. The two prompts are TV and free choice. TV sounded too hard for me. I could only think that I would be needing to freehand something intricate. So free choice was easier.
It’s been a busy Bank Holiday weekend, so I’ve not had time to spend on my nails at all. My son plays cricket, and all of Sunday – the day I typically do the 52 week challenge manicure – was spent at a cup final. His team won, so that meant that the day led into the evening, celebrating with friends. The I forgot all about posting, so this manicure is now rather late.
The base is Chanel Fortissimo. It’s a absolutely stunning polish. It’s navy blue with a sapphire blue shimmer that gives it a radiant quality.
I stamped a striking geometric pattern from Born Pretty Store plate BP-25 using Barry M Foil Effects Silver for the stamping.
The observant amongst you will notice that my nails are much shorter than usual. I broke the tip of my middle fingernail and it just looked too comical to keep the others at the same length, so they all came down by about 2-3mm. It doesn’t sound a lot, but it certainly looks a lot.
- Colour: two coats of Chanel Fortissimo
- Stamping polish: Barry M Foil Effects Silver
- Stamping plate: Born Pretty Store BP-25
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

Love this, looks great. Fortissimo is just a great base colour for that silver.
Fortissimo is gorgeous. The stamping does cover it up a bit though. I wore it for a few days on its own before adding the stamping and couldn’t stop looking at it.
Stunning mani! The silver really pops on that deep blue 🙂
Thank you Rebecca. It’s such a gorgeous polish.
