FingerFood’s Theme Weeks: Weather: stamped lilac clouds over Zoya Payton
The theme for this FingerFood’s Theme Weeks challenge is weather.
I’ve been a bit lazy today. I have left this a bit late – I’ve not done anything until today – and I was originally going to draw the icons from the BBC weather forecasts. You know the ones, the curly clouds with raindrops and so on.
But I had only just painted my nails with the FABULOUS Zoya Payton and I couldn’t bear to take it off; it’s so sparkly and lovely in its holographic-ness, and there’s finally been some sun in the UK, so I’ve been able to enjoy Zoy aPayton twinkling back at me.
So, I’ve taken the very lazy route and have stamped some blustery lilac clouds onto my existing manicure.
I’ve used Essie Nothing Else Metals and Bundle Monster plate BM-312. If fits the “weather” brief, but I’ve not seen metallic lilac clouds in a blackcurrant holographic sky before!
Here are the manicures from everyone else that is participating:
- Colour: two coats of Zoya Payton
- Intermediate top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl
- Stamping polish: Essie Nothing Else Metals
- Stamping plate: Bundle Monster BM-312
- Final top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

It looks soooo gorgeous. I love the Zoya polish and the stamping it’s beautiful!!
I actually quite like the lilac clouds stamped. They look very pretty over that beautiful base.
Ahhhhh Claire you can’t do this to me. I only just talked myself into waiting for it, now your making me want it more!
It *is* lovely, Sarah. I do think you need it 😉
Holy ish, Claire! This looks so amazing. Your nails are perfection. Love it!
I actually just got Payton myself but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. The cloud stamping is the perfect touch
