I am praying the sun is going to come out today because I have put yellow on my nails. It’s not looking good at the moment, but the forecast is promising, so fingers crossed that I won’t be wearing yellow nails in the gloom!

The base colour for this manicure – Max Factor Mellow Yellow – took four coats before it was opaque and smooth. That’s not unusual for a yellow, but it was a bit frustrating waiting for it to dry.

I painted the base colour last night, then taped off the triangles today before painting on one coat of George Buttercup Shine.
