Dotted flowers: Beauty UK Smokey Lilac, NYC Pinstripe White and W7 Cosmic Purple

So many polishes: so little time! My stash of untried polishes keeps growing. A month ago, I had 104 untried polishes. Despite manicuring my nails every two or three days, and proactively trying to get through those polishes, I have bought and been given loads more, so the untried number has actually grown: to 117.

So what better way to get through those than by using two more untried polishes today? And for that, I’ve gone with some dotted flowers.

I used NYC Pinstripe White for the petals. It’s a very slightly creamy white, with a nice fluid consistency that makes it great for dotting. After that had dried, I added the centres of the flowers with W7 Cosmic Purple. I feel like I have let this polish down a little, because it is so fantastically zingy that it really must be seen on its own. But that will have to wait for another day. It’s a purple jelly base, with small pink and blue glitters, and is great for this manicure as it helps lift it a little from the simplicity of the lilac and white.

I didn’t quite leave it long enough before adding top coat, so it’s dragged the white in a couple of places; my little finger is the worst.
