Pink stripes on cream: Z is for: Zoya Zanna
It’s the end! This week is letter Z in the A to Z series challenge.
I bought Zoya Zanna some weeks ago, specifically for this series of challenges. It was the only polish I could find beginning with a Z. I’m sure there are probably others, but once I’d found this one, I was happy. It’s a soft, dusky, muted pink. I do love colours like this. I bought it before Barry M brought out Ballerina, which is very similar, just a shade lighter.
This is 2 coats of Zanna on the pink nails and 3 coats of Barry M Coconut for the cream-based nails. I then added a stripe of Zanna to the cream nails. I was going to add another stripe in a complementary colour, but I liked it like this, and decided that since less is sometimes more, I should leave it alone and be satisfied.
The other A to Zers have blogged about:
Zoya Storm (PennyPinchingPolish)
- Colour: two coats of Zoya Zanna or three coats of Barry M Coconut
- Stripes: Zoya Zanna
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

I’m loving this pink! I didn’t know Zoya have this! Thx!
I love this look, and I just love your nails. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you, I love how your pictures come out!
Ah, thank you Jessica – how lovely 🙂
I really loved these nails too – they’re very “me” … simple, stripes, symmetry. And pink (which these days I’m reaching for far more than ever, and which seems to be replacing my love of blues and purples).
