Teal gradient (52 Week Challenge)

I’m starting a new nail art challenge, the 52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge. It sounds daunting that it’s for a whole year, but it’s only one manicure a week, so I’m sure I can cope 🙂

There are two prompts each week and you can do one or both of the prompts, or you can combine the two. This week the two prompts are two colour gradient, and teal. So in this instance I have combined the two – and I am going to aim to do this every week, where possible – and I’ve done a teal, two colour gradient.

I used China Glaze For Audrey and A England Galahad. After I’d taken photos, I stamped over the top with a darker teal still, but the stamping was poor so I removed it and left it as it was.

Next week the prompts are very easily combinable (is that a word?), but there are some harder ones further down the line!

For this manicure I’ve used:
  • Base: one coat of China Glaze For Audrey
  • Gradient: China Glaze For Audrey and A England Galahad
  • Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

I love the polish. Is very similar to Cinderella’s Sinful Colors? Kiss!!

Claire Kerr

No, they aren’t very similar at all. Sinful Colors Cinderella is much more of a pale blue, whereas China Glaze For Audrey is definitely more of a green.

You are brave, 52 week challenge?? I can’t even do half the prompts of a 10 week one! Look forward to following this however, you always have some lovely ideas

It does sound daunting, but at only one manicure a week it should be OK 🙂
