Jagged stencilled zigzags using OPI Miss Universe 2013 collection
I have another smART nails stencils manicure today.
This one is P017, and I don’t really know how to describe it. It’s a sort of zigzag, but looks like some scary pointed fang teeth as well! Actually, I’ve just checked on the smART nails website, and they’re called “big teeth”, so I was right!
I started with a base of OPI I’m Feeling Sashy, which is a colour I adore. It’s a dusky mauve shade and it suits my skin tone well. I’ve had it a while, but at the time I didn’t buy the other two that came as part of the Miss Universe 2013 collection. Well, I was lucky to get the two I was missing recently for £3.99 each from Fragrance Direct, so this mini collection is now complete. And the colours really complement each other well, so I used them all in this look.
The silver is OPI This Gown Needs A Crown, and I added that using the stencil once the base colour was completely dry. The stencils were simple to use and left really good, clean lines. Once that was dry – and it dried quickly – I reapplied the stencils and used Miss You-Niverse, a dark purple.
These stencils come in a pack of ten, all with the same design. You can buy them from smART nails for $1.99 a pack. They ship worldwide. During November, you can get also get a generous 25% discount if you use the code NOV25 during checkout.
This particular design is one that is easy to re-use. You just need to replace the stencil on the sheet and leave it to dry. Then, with acetone free remover, you can carefully clean them and leave to dry once again. They’re absolutely fine to use once again and I have had three uses out of some of my stencils.
