Morgan Taylor Up In The Air-Heart is an absolutely beautiful shade and one of my new go-to favourites when I’m not sure what to put on my nails.

It’s from the Sweetheart Squadron Collection for autumn. The six-polish collection is inspired by female aviators and includes some lovely shades. I even love the green one!

Morgan Taylor describes Up In The Air-Heart as a dusty coral creme, but it’s not so much coral as a pinky nude. I adore it for this as it looks so classy and is great for a work-appropriate manicure. I’ve worn it a couple of times recently for business meetings, where I’m meeting new people who don’t yet know about my crazy love for polish. I need to maintain an air of professionalism and not appear too quirky. Those situations call for a polish just like Up In The Air-Heart.

This swatch is two coats. It painted on fantastically smoothly and lasted for ages. I tend to change my polish every couple of days anyway, but recently I have been incredibly busy with work and haven’t had the time to devote to my nails. I wore this polish for four days without even a hint of a chip. And the same can be said for the other polishes in this collection. They really do have great longevity.

While that’s on the more expensive end of the price range for polish, I do think it’s absolutely worth it for these polishes. When I was starting out and wanting to “buy all the polishes”, I probably wouldn’t have looked at a collection like this because of the price. But these days, and now I have nearly 1,000 polishes, I am definitely more discerning about what I buy. I prefer to spend a bit more and get a quality polish, because I buy fewer of them now.
