Stripey grey and peach nails
I did these nails for a little girl I see at my son’s cricket training most weeks. She’s fascinated by my nails – most people aren’t, so I am grateful for her interest – and she asked me to do something different for this week’s training, not just a plain colour. But, she wasn’t there today! Her brother was at the training, but she hadn’t come along too.
I got this combination in a dream, bizarrely. The grey was more taupe-like, but I spotted this grey before I went looking for anything more beige, and thought it went really well with the peach. Goodness only knows why I was dreaming about nail designs though.
I’ve used Revlon Hazy and Nails Inc. You’re A Peach, one of the polishes that came free with June’s issue of InStyle magazine, and some masking tape to create the stripes.
- Colours: Revlon Hazy and Nails Inc. You’re A Peach
- Top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip
- Stripes created with: 3M Scotch-Blue™ Painter’s Tape

This is fab! What a lovely colour combo, fruitful dream! x x x
This reminds me very much of the post you did for the Crumpet
Yes, good spot, it’s not far off that manicure. In fact I was going to do the thin stripes too, but gave up as it was too late!
Great colour choices! x
Ooo I really like this color combo! I hadn’t considered it before, but it makes sense with yellow and grey being so popular right now! Just got some peaches and corals, so i might have to give this a go!
love it. Am doing mine right now. I too love to change my mani every 3 or 4 days. I am glad I am able to do my own. I could never afford to have them done so often!
Nice job!
