Gold roses stamped over brown
I have so much that I want to put on my nails that I can rarely leave a manicure alone.
And today is no different: yesterday’s plain old brown has been stamped on.
Today’s theme in the Facebook Adventures in Stamping group is light over a dark base. I already had the dark base (Beauty UK Posh Puddle), so I was playing about with what might go well over it. I was toying with a giraffe print in yellow, but on my paper I had also done a stamp of roses and my son loved it. So that’s what I’ve gone with.
I’ve stamped using Bundle Monster plate BM-323 and Barry M Foil Effects Gold .
I also managed to rescue my Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip top coat. It had become a bit gloopy, so I added some polish thinner to it and it seems fine now. I wanted to use it as it’s great over stamping as it’s the one top coat I’ve tried that has never (so far) smudged my stamping.
- Base: two coats of Beauty UK Posh Puddle
- Intermediate top coat: No. 7 Stay Perfect
- Stamping polish: Barry M Foil Effects Gold
- Stamping plate: Bundle Monster BM-323
- Final top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip
