Black manicure with sparkly red stripe French tips
I wore a red top to my son’s school Speech Day (prize giving day) yesterday and matched it by wearing China Glaze Ruby Pumps.
Today I wanted to switch things up a bit and do something that I could also blog about. (I’ve blogged about Ruby Pumps before).
I decided to add striping tape near to the tips and then painted the rest of my nail with W7 Black. The result is a thin, sparkly French tip effect made with Ruby Pumps. I chose W7 Black because it is opaque in one coat (which means it’s also great for stamping, by the way).
I love this. It looks really classy. I doesn’t go at all well with the sunny and hot weather in the UK today, but would be beautiful for a nice function or event.
- Base colour: three coats of China Glaze Ruby Pumps
- Intermediate top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip
