L’Oréal Sweet Amethyst stamped over Wild Purple using MoYou London XL Pro plate 10
I recently splurged out on 14 L’Oréal polishes. Ordinarily, that would cost something like £70, but because these came from Fragrance Direct, they cost a bargainous £18.20.
I love L’Oréal polishes. They are quite diddy at only 5ml, but the wide brush with its rounded end paints my nails wonderfully in just a couple of strokes and I find that a manicure lasts brilliantly, rarely chipping on me within the two or three days that I typically wear a polish.
This showcases two of my purchases: Wild Purple, a lovely deep purple that has a duo-toned gold and fuchsia shimmer – which, as ever, I have not been able to capture on camera; and Sweet Amethyst, a metallic-looking rose-tinted lilac.
Sweet Amethyst stamped well, but I did find I was left with a few air holes, probably from scraping too hard. I just touched them up with a nail art brush.
This isn’t my best stamping ever – in fact, far from it. But I’ve entered it in the MoYou London December nail competition, so if you like it, please like it and re-pin it. Re-pins are worth double points too.
