Green Half and Half Nails | 40 Great Nail Art Ideas
For the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas group the theme this time around is three shades of green, and linked with my own personal prompt of half and half, I have these green half and half nails.
I’m really not a great lover of green. I own a fair few, but I don’t wear them that often – apart from mint greens sometimes.
But I still managed to find three nicely complementary greens and put them together in some half and half nails.
The palest green, L’Oreal Pistachio Dragée is almost cream-looking in the photos, but it is green … just. The mid shade is Beauty UK Jade, and the darkest one is another L’Oreal, Blue Reef. This one is a dark teal, which therefore has a tinge of blue, but I would definitely call it green, not blue.
I only painted four nails and the design only stayed on my nails as long as it took to photograph them. I liked the look, just not the colour, so they had to go. (Ironically, they made way for some more green nails – see my post tomorrow for that!)
- Colours: L’Oréal Pistachio Dragée, L’Oréal Blue Reef, Beauty UK Jade
- Top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

These are simple but oh so nice.
nice! It’s crazy how many shades of green look almost like blue!
