Lilac Stamping On Cream : P is for: Pale

I’m extremely busy at the moment with work commitments, so nails are the last thing on my mind. It didn’t help today therefore when my first two efforts for “pale” in this week’s A2Z series challenge went completely wrong and I had to try again.

I tried zigzags, but the polish was drying too quickly and getting stringy as I pulled the nail vinyls off. Then I tried chevrons – with a better consistency of polish – but didn’t like the colours I chose.

So finally, with not much time in the day left, I have just finished this manicure, and I’ve gone with stamping. Of the last 6 manicures on the blog, 5 of them are stamping! Must try harder to vary things a bit!

The base is Barry M Coconut, a whitish cream, and the stamping is done with MoYou Nails Lilac and an image from the MoYou Nails Pro Board VII.

Even this manicure caused me issues. I’d just finished it and was clearing up, when I managed to catch my middle fingernail on the stamping plate. It wasn’t quite dry, so was completely ruined, and I had to re-do it.
