Red Geometric | 40 Great Nail Art Ideas
This week’s 40 Great Nail Art Ideas theme is red and my own personal prompt is geometric. So these are my red geometric nails.
The base is the classic and iconic Chanel Rouge Noir. To that, I’ve then added some colour using a Bundle Monster nail stencil.
The stencil is Bundle Monster #24, which has both geometric mosaic patterns and diagonal stripes. This pack comes in a set of 9 packs for $12.99. There are two types of these 9-pack stencil sets, one called Sunny Weather Fun and the other – this one – called Geometric Shapes.
The nail stencils are really easy to use. They stick to the nail well, and I find they work best when the additional colour is sponged on. The thin coat you achieve with sponging ensures that the colour doesn’t bleed under the stencil.
For the sponging, I used Barry M Sparkling Ruby. The overall effect is really lovely and the Barry M polish lives up to its name by sparkling when the light catches it.
The post is a few days late as I was away for my birthday at the end of last week, when this was due to be posted, and I hadn’t prepared the manicure ahead of time as I had been ill in bed with flu earlier on in the week. Anyway, I’m all good now, albeit not very well prepared for the next lot of challenges coming up. I have lots of manicures that I have never posted too, so I must get around to publishing those.
Today’s post also marks the start of the next round of prompts – so if you look at the image below, you’ll see what we have coming up between now and the middle of July.
- Base colour: two coats of Chanel Rouge Noir
- Stencil: Bundle Monster Mixed Nail Polish Vinyl Stencil Bundle – Geometric Shapes
- Sponged colour: Barry M Sparkling Ruby
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

The Bundle Monster Mixed Nail stencils were sent to me for review. All views expressed in this post are my own, honest and unbiased opinions.
