Shimmer Karen with purple zigzags
I meant for this manicure to have more than just a ring finger accent. I was going to do both the centre nails plus my thumbs with the zigzags, but I was really busy at the weekend and I just didn’t have the time.
So, it’ll have to stay as just a one fingernail accent, unless I get the time to add to it today.
The base is Shimmer Karen, which is a full coverage glitter in lilac, purple and copper, but which also has a generous amount of holographic glitter too. So, from afar, the polish looks pinky lilac, but on closer inspection, the holographic glitters make it twinkle through a rainbow of colours.
I added the zigzags using Nail Vinyls (standard size “chevrons”) and Sally Hansen Anenome Of Mine.
For this manicure I’ve used:
- Colour: three coats of Shimmer Karen
- Zigzags: Sally Hansen Anenome Of Mine
- Top coat: two coats of Glisten & Glow HK Girl

Loving those Chevrons, they look fab!
I love how a lazy-manis-with-better-intentions still always turn out looking good, because who knew you wanted to do more than one nail. Yeah, I meant to do that, is what I always say. 🙂 Love that glitter too.
It has been a long time since I’ve been able to peruse my bookmarked blogs.
Claire your nails, longer than last year, look fantastic! I looked at a couple of your recent mani’s and am so impressed by how you’ve progressed with your nail art.
Awesome!!!! and job well done!
