benecos Oh Lala!

I have another benecos nail polish from their Spring Summer 2016 collection for you today. This is benecos Oh Lala!, a summery raspberry pink shade.

It has the perfect formula. Unless truly warranted, I am very careful not to be too gushing when reviewing an item supplied by a manufacturer or PR company. I worry that people might think I am not being sincere because I am reviewing an item that has been supplied for me, and so I am conscious of trying to remain as impartial about a product as I possibly can. But I really do have to gush for Oh Lala!

The formula is absolutely spot on. It’s not too thin so that it pools into the cuticles, and nor is it too thick that you can’t paint it on smoothly. It has the goldilocks formula … just right!

For those of you with shorter nails, it’s a one-coater polish, especially if you paint a thickish coat. I  needed two coats due to the length of my nails and the fact that I always use the second coat to get a better and more even line around the cuticle.

It dried nice and quickly too. The first coat dried very slightly matte (but the the second coat didn’t, strangely). This made me wonder if Oh Lala! is a neon. It’s certainly quite bright. So I checked it under my UV lamp and … it isn’t.

benecos polishes are vegan and 5-free, and you can buy them from Whole Foods, selected outlets and online from benecos.co.uk.
