Barry M Key Lime

Finally, it’s summer! Or it seems to be today. The sun is shining and it’s even quite hot. To celebrate, I’m wearing a very summery shade today: Barry M Key Lime.

Key Lime was launched fairly recently and is one of the Gelly Hi-Shine polishes. I do like them. They usually take only one coat and are really shiny, even without top coat.

I used two coats for this manicure. You could probably get away with one thick coat, but I tend to do two thinnish coats and use the second coat to ensure I’ve got a nice even line at the cuticle edge.

I’m really not a green lover, but I do like this polish. It stands out and is really cheery and bright. Brights tend to suit my colouring … and I love to stand out!

For this manicure I’ve used:
  • Colour: two coats of Barry M Key Lime
  • Top coat: Seche Vite

I just bought this, can’t wait to wear it!

Good choice. It’s a lovely colour (and that from someone who hates green!)

this lime green looks great! does it stain the nails?

Claire Kerr

My nails are pretty stained anyway, so I can’t be sure whether or not it has added to that. But it didn’t stain my cuticles when I took it off, so I think not.
