Glitter gradient: China Glaze Up All Night with H&M Blue Bliss

It’s well and truly party season now. As I’m self-employed, there’s not much fun in taking myself to a restaurant for a Christmas do. But one of my clients always invites me to their Christmas lunch, and I’ve worked with them for nearly three years now, so feel like an employee anyway!

Today’s the day of the lunch, and I wanted to add some Christmas sparkle to my nails for the occasion.

I decided on using China Glaze Up All Night as a base. It’s a dark navy, with a hint of shimmer. I have a few navy polishes, but hadn’t tried this one before now. It went on well, and I could possibly have managed with one coat, especially as I was planning on layering glitter over it, but added the second coat for a more even coverage.

Then I layered H&M Blue Bliss over it as a gradient from the tips. I’ve used this glitter before, also over a navy, and loved how it looked.
