Laquerdaisical Load of Pollocks
I have another Laquerdaisical polish on today. This is Load of Pollocks, a fab, multi-coloured glitter in a white base.
I’m a sucker for these kinds of polishes. KBShimmer Oh Splat! is one of my favourites of all time. Seeing as the Royal Mail loves to destroy inbound polish parcels, this one from UK indie Laquerdaisical is a great solution for any Brits hankering after Oh Splat!
I used a base of one coat of white, then two coats of Load Of Pollocks. I topped that with Gelous before my usual topcoat, as it smoothes out glitter brilliantly.
I found Load Of Pollocks to be a little thick in application, and also quite sheer. I had to dab a little and play around as the glitters tended to sweep towards my tips. But it’s worth it for the final effect as it is a lovely polish.
I love the name but I don’t know if it is lost on a non-British audience. I’m not sure how far-travelled the original phrase (Pollocks with a b!) is!
