Coral: GOT Polish Challenge

I had about three or four old corals to choose from for this week’s Golden Oldie Thursday (GOT) Polish Challenge.

I chose L’Oréal Dating Coral, which is a bright coral with a very subtle shimmer to it. I needed three coats for it to be opaque, but anyone less fussy than me might get away with just two thickish ones.

I created some four-petal flowers using OPI My Vampire Is Buff and Barry M Guava.

I’ve adjusted the image to try to get the coral to show correctly, but I stopped short of getting there completely because it made my hands very yellow and the turquoise was becoming too blue. So, this isn’t colour accurate for the coral – it should be less magenta and more orange than this.

I am with you on the pains of colour accuracy! This one looks gorgeous enough for me, though – love the little flowers and the colour combo you went for. Turquoise and coral are just meant to be together 😉
