My own personal theme for the to 40 Great Nail Art Ideas “grey plus a colour” prompt is dotting tools. So I have some grey and blue dotted half moons.

I’ve recently done a very similar manicure, using peach, navy and cream, but haven’t got around to posting it yet. I wanted to see how it would work with just a single colour of dotting for the half moons.

The grey base is Nella Milano Grey Goose, and the dotting is done with Barry M Cyan Blue.

I’m not completely sold on the colour combination. I think this would have looked better with a darker blue, perhaps even as deep as a navy. Or with a mauve.
