Red and gold harlequin nails: R is for Ruby Pumps
For letter R this week in the A to Z series challenge I chose Ruby Pumps from China Glaze. I don’t seem to have worn red on my nails in such a long time and I was yearning for it. Initially, I fished out a plain red China Glaze from my helmer, but sitting next to it was Ruby Pumps; my decision was made and my R manicure was born.
I painted two coats and wore it plain for a day before adding a harlequin-patterned stamp from CICI & SISI plate 03. I stamped using Barry M Foil Effects Gold. It stamped wonderfully apart from two or three air bubbles, which I filled in with my smallest dotting tool.
The other A to Zers have blogged about:

Color Club Raspberry Rush/Barrym Red Black (Penny Pinching Polish)
OPI DS Radiance/Nails Inc Royal Botanical Gardens (Annabean)
Essie Romper Room (Deliciate Nails)

- Colour: two coats of China Glaze Ruby Pumps

- Stamping plate: CICI & SISI 03
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

Love the colors in this manicure!
Whenever I paint my nails red and then choose to stamp, I always reach for gold – they go so well together.
Love this – looks great and I love the red and gold combo!
Thanks Lou 🙂
