OPI She’s A Bad Muffuletta with Spring Flowers | 40 Great Nail Art Ideas
I have some spring flowers for the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas group today.
I used some polishes from the OPI New Orleans Spring 2016 collection. The base is OPI She’s A Bad Muffuletta. I don’t understand the pun behind this polish name at all. I looked up muffuletta, because I had no idea what that was, and it seems it’s a sandwich of some sort. Now I just need to understand why it goes with “she’s a bad …”. It makes zero sense to me. Can an American please explain?
The colour is lovely. It’s one of those “nearly red” pinks. It’s bright and it freaks out my camera a little, and while I have adjusted the image a little, it still isn’t quite colour-accurate. So if you’re looking to buy this polish, please don’t rely on my photos.
I added in some some flowers and dots using OPI Crawfishin’ For A Compliment, which is a pale peach colour. The centre of the flowers is SpaRitual Gentle, which I reviewed yesterday. I wanted a nice cream for the centre of the flowers, and this was still on my desk, so it was perfect all round.
I’m not sure that the base is very spring-like. I think I perhaps should have done it with the light colour as the base and the darker one for the flowers. This is probably more summers flowers than spring flowers!
- Colour: two coats of OPI She’s A Bad Muffuletta
- Flowers: OPI Crawfishin’ For A Compliment and SpaRitual Gentle
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

SpaRitual Gentle was sent to me for review. All views expressed in this post are my own, honest and unbiased opinions

The simple flowers and dots are pretty here!
Lovely indeed! Love the base color used and love that simple flower design. Great job!!!
I love the look of this OPI shade, however, how does it compare with Chanel Tapage?
I don’t have Tapage. But I would say from photos that Tapage is much more red. Muffuletta I would call a pink – although on its way to red.
