Dandelion Nails | Things That Fly | 40 Great Nail Art Ideas

These dandelion nails are for the “things that fly” prompt for the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas group

I really wanted to have dragonflies on my nails, but could only find a solitary one on a Bundle Monster plate. So I thought I’d try to be a little different and go for a non-animal/insect flying thing. (There will probably be fifteen different sets of dandelion nails now!)

The base is Revlon Spanish Moss, a dark sage green. I don’t typically like greens, but I can handle this one. It is dusky and muted; quite a classy shade.

I had it in my head that it would look good stamped with cream. My Mundo de Uñas Cream is a little more light yellow than cream usually, but over this base it does come over fairly creamy.

I used Born Pretty Store plate BPL-026 for the stamping. It’s a fabulous plate – full of very “me” vine and leaf images.

My favourite Fab Ur Nails red firm stamper didn’t want to play today, so I used for the first time a new Born Pretty Store large red stamper that I bought very recently. It picked up just as nicely as my FUN one usually does, so I am very pleased. Excluding dupes, I now have about fifteen different stampers. I shall have to do a review on them all one day.

I have the same feelings towards green polishes, but… this one looks absolutely beautiful on you! And the stamping looks perfectly.

Such pretty stamping. I really like that green you used.
