Nella Milano The Rubinator
This is a swatch of Nella Milano The Rubinator. It is an absolutely stunning, full-on red; a rich, tomato-red colour.
I just love its name. In the words of Nella Milano, The Rubinator has been:
“sent back through time to save humanity from dull colours and lifeless nails”
It is slightly on the sheer side, so with my longish nails, I preferred 3 coats for this nail polish. I expect if you have shorter nails then you could get away with 2 coats, but I don’t much like visible nail line, so for me the the extra coat is vital.
As with the other Nella Milano polishes I’ve worn, it is very glossy even without top coat.
It applied just as beautifully as the other Nella milano polishes I’ve worn so far. Both of those polishes have (only very temporarily) stained my skin. So I was fully prepared for this one to do the same. After all, reds are notorious for staining. But this one didn’t stain at all.
If you want to buy this, or any other Nella Milano polish, you can get 20% off with the code Kerrspecial. The full range consists of more than 30 colours. The polishes are £8.95 each, but The Rubinator is half price at the moment, so you can get it for £4.47. With the 20% code, that comes down to just £3.58.
