Blue herringbone stamping | Bundle Monster BM-XL212
This blue herringbone stamping manicure disappointed a little on camera.
In the flesh, it was awesome, creating a stunning optical illusion effect of a 3D pattern. But I just couldn’t seem to capture how it looked on camera.
It’s a real shame that I can’t demonstrate how good this looked, but if you have this plate, I urge you to try this particular design out.

The base is the beautiful pale blue OPI The I’s Have It. It’s from the Alice Through The Looking Glass, Brights 2016 collection. I confess that I have finally stopped buying nail polishes in quantity. For many years, I was buying 20-30 a month. Now that my collection numbers over a thousand, I find myself frequently seeing new shades and simply thinking, I’ve got that colour … ten times over. So it’s only rarely that I see a polish and really want it. And The I’s Have It was one of those.

I stamped over the baby blue base using 2true Athena, a metallic-blue polish. The image comes from one of the plates in the Bundle Monster Blogger Collaboration Set 3. It’s a 3D herringbone design made from dots, created by “gotnail”. It’s on plate BM-xL212. It’s my favourite plate in the set as it has lots of abstract and geometrical designs, which are my favourites to use.

Some awesome stamping!
Hi Claire, I bought this plate after seeing your nails and used it for the first time yesterday. The design is truly beautiful and stamps really well. My boss at work even complimented me on my nails! Thank you for showing it, I doubt I would have noticed.
I’m glad to have been such an enabler, ha ha! It is a fab pattern, though, and photos don’t seem to do it justice.
