Today I have some winter trees for the Crumpets Nail Tarts Winter theme for 40 Great Nail Art Ideas.

I wanted to used this stamping plate two years’ ago at around this time, for the Christmas Challenge 2013 winter nature theme, but I hadn’t actually received it yet. Surprisingly, despite how much I wanted to use it back then, I still haven’t used the plate until now; I had to remove the blue plastic film from it!

I started with a gradient using OPI Gelato On My Mind, Nella Milano Grey Goose and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

Then I stamped in white using Bundle Monster BM-407.

My trees are a little wonky here and there. But it does remind me of a crisp morning, with a bright blue sky and a hoar frost on the bare trees in winter.
