Turquoise Comic Style Nails | 40 Great Nail Art Ideas
For the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas group this time, it’s cartoons and comics. I have some turquoise comic style nails. They are sort of inspired by comics.
The base is Barry M Turquoise, which is one of my most favourite polishes of all time. I love blue, and I love turquoise even more.
On top of that, I did some stamping. The dotted nails represent the dots you sometimes see in the background of a comic strip. I’m sure the style probably has a name, but I didn’t have enough time to research it. They’re stamped with Konad White and ÜberChic Beauty 3-03. They came out so well. Far better than I could have dotted by hand.
The two middle nails are stamped with an image from Bundle Monster BM-602, some little “pow” symbols.
After I photographed these, I added another image from the same Bundle Monster plate, a larger flash or burst image. I added it in navy, coming from a bottom corner of each of the two outer nails. I didn’t like it as much so didn’t use it, but it did make it even more comic style.
I am still having quite a lot of trouble with some of these theme prompts. I much prefer the colour and pattern ones.
- Colour: two coats of Barry M Turquoise
- Stamping polish: Konad White
- Stamping plate: Bundle Monster BM-602 and ÜberChic Beauty 3-03
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl
