Chanel Vibrato Stamped with Bundle Monster Around The World BM-XL155 (Japan)
I have a brilliant combination on my nails today: the glorious Chanel Vibrato; which I’ve stamped with an abstract image from the Bundle Monster BM-XL155 plate, the Japan plate.
Chanel Vibrato comes from this summer’s Blue Notes de Chanel collection (called Blue Rhythm in some other countries). There are two nail polishes in the collection: Vibrato, a royal blue creme, and Fortissimo, a darker metallic blue. I believe one or both of these is limited edition.
My husband bought me Vibrato recently as a gift after our remortgage was approved. I do like how he chooses to celebrate such things! Vibrato is a perfect royal blue and paints on as perfectly as you’d expect from a Chanel.
The image was stamped using Bundle Monster BM-XL155. Bundle Monster has very recently released five new rectangular stamping plates, named the Around The World collection. Each depicts imagery from a country, so we have:
- XL151 – Shanghai Summer (China)
- XL152 – Pharoah-est Of All (Egypt)
- XL153 – Parisian Perfection (France)
- XL154 – Paisley Delhite (India)
- XL155 – Kyoto In Spring (Japan)
The Kyoto In Spring plate that this image comes from has three full nail images and some cute Japanese maneki-neko cats, the lucky cats. Most of the plate however is taken up with an image of a Japanese lady, made up from roses, waves, flowers, dots, dragonflies, koi carp, birds, swirls and even some origami cranes. There’s so much packed into it. Sorry, my photo is not the clearest, but you can see the plate perfectly on the Bundle Monster website.
The plates in the Around The World collection can be purchased separately – for $4.99, but they’re currently on offer for $4.39. Or you can buy the entire set of five plates for $19.99 – but on offer for $17.59 at the moment.
I also used a Bundle Monster scraper for the first time. They have various designs in 0.5mm and 1mm thicknesses. I prefer the thicker ones usually; the 1mm credit card thickness ones. But in fairness, I got a cleaner image using the thinner scraper!
It’s taken me three years, but I’ve finally come to learn that the particular combination of stamping polish, scraper, plate and stamper can affect how your stamping comes out. With a bit of trial and error before you stamp on the actual nail, you can find out which combination of stamper and scraper is best for the polish and plate you’re using, so that you can get the cleanest image placement possible.
I have seven stampers and nine scrapers that I regularly use. So that’s 63 different combinations that I could use for a particular choice of polish and plate. Goodness!

THIS IS GORGEOUS!! I am going to buy these plates now, they look amazing. The pastel blue stamp really works well with vibrato.
