Green and Lilac Barry M Flowers (52 Week Challenge)
I’m in a bit of a nail art funk at the moment. I am really busy with work and am doing my challenge manicures at the last minute all the time. Because of that, I am not devoting much creativity to the task and am subsequently finding that I’m not liking much of what I’m creating at the moment. And this week’s 52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge manicure is no exception.
The themes are mermaid and/or lilac and green. I tried to water marble using these polishes, and it failed big time. Then I tried a stripey look and I hated it. So finally, I’ve created a quick and easy dotted flower look. But I don’t like it very much and although it’s on my nails as I type this, it’s coming off just as soon as I’ve pressed publish on this post.
I’ve used all Barry M polishes: the pale green Sugar Apple for the base, Prickly Pear for the petals and Greenberry for the flower centres.
It’ll probably end up being one of my most-liked posts. It always seems to be the case that the manicures I don’t care for are the ones that everyone likes and shares. I reckon my perspective is off!
