Yellow Gradient with Stamping (52 Week Challenge)
It’s either wild animals or yellow (or both) for this week’s 52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge. I stuck with just the yellow theme and started with a pale yellow to mustard gradient.
I used my palest yellow, Max Factor Mellow Yellow; then Collection 2000 Lemon Soda for the central yellow; and finally Barry M Mustard towards the tips.
The stamping is done using CICI & SISI 02 and Mundo De Uñas Cream (#12). It kind of looks more pale yellow than cream so was perfect for this. This is my first time using Mundo De Uñas stamping polishes. I’d read that they are possibly made with enamel paint, and they certainly smell very strongly of that. Apart from the smell though, it was exactly like a normal stamping polish, and I didn’t really have to do anything differently from normal. I did have a play around to find out which of my many stampers worked best. I thought it would have been the squishy one, but it wasn’t; it was my Konad stamper.
If all the Mundo De Uñas polishes are like this, then I can say that they are fantastic for stamping. This one picked up and stamped so cleanly. I’d been warned that clean up is best done with non-acetone remover, and doing it that way was a breeze too.
