I’ve been going through a bit of a nail art rut recently, so I have been trawling Instagram and Pinterest to get some inspiration. I was struck by this manicure by nailsofjessek on Instagram and decided to recreate it, only with a different coloured base.

So this is two coats of China Glaze High Roller, with added stripes of glittery gold, using China Glaze I’m Not Lion.

High Roller is quite jelly-like, and would have looked less sheer had I used three coats rather than two.

I think the trawling has helped reignite some nail art creativity, and I have a few more ideas now. The addition of another challenge has also helped.
