V is for: Vixen: pink with flower accent
For V this week in the A to Z series challenge I’ve used Vixen by Collection 2000. It’s a striking pink with a fuchsia shimmer.
I paired it with the pale pink of No Excuses by George and created a dotted flowers accent nail.
You may notice that my nails are really short. This is the shortest they have been in a very long time. Looking back over old photos, I think this is the shortest they have been since I started blogging. They’re more manageable this length, but I prefer them longer, certainly in photos they look nicer longer. It’s my index finger nail that is causing the problems. It often breaks at the corner (on the left as you look at the photo) and it’s particularly flaky and peeling also at the moment, meaning any initial damage at a corner will often spread across the nail. So, I’ve taken them all down in length – the index nail is still comparatively shorter – I will just have to be patient while they grow again.
