Autumnal stripes with Barry M Mustard, Paprika and Cocoa
As soon as they launched on Wednesday, I went straight out and bought all 6 polishes from the new Barry M Autumn 2014 Gelly collection. I lined them all up in number order for swatching on my nail wheels and couldn’t help but notice that the yellow, red and brown shades worked really well in a gradient.
And that’s how this manicure was born. In the end though, I left out Chilli, as I preferred a three-way lined gradient and I plumped for Paprika over Chilli as it’s a better complement to the other two.
I started by painting Barry M Coconut on my two middle nails. I was initially going to use OPI My Vampire Is Buff, but thought I’d keep it all in the Barry M family! I top-coated and waited for them to dry and then I blocked off the stripes using the regular width straight Nail Vinyls. Finally, I painted Mustard, Paprika and Cocoa before quickly removing the nail vinyls. I’ve used Paprika on the plain nails.
- Striped nails: base of three coats of Barry M Coconut; then Barry M Mustard, Barry M Paprika, Barry M Cocoa
- Plain nails: two coats of Barry M Paprika
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

Great autumn colours! Reminds me of old tweed as well for some reason.
First thing I did on Wednesday was buy those three new A/W Gellys! I couldn’t quite bring myself to buy six polishes in one go, but I’m sure I’ll be back for the other three fairly soon.
They were 3 for 2 in Superdrug; I couldn’t resist having them all.
These are beautiful!
These nail polishes are perfect for autumn! The looks great together too! 🙂
