Orange gradient with zigzag tips
I’ve not had much time recently to do too much on my nails, and so nail art on the blog has been a little sparse. I’ve also found myself lacking in inspiration, which is possibly due to having stopped doing the challenges I was following. When you have too much choice of what to do, it’s too difficult to make a decision. But, the challenges focus the mind more. I think I need to get back into some of them.
I fancied something bright and wore China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin on my nails for a few days, before turning it into a gradient with a zigzag tip.
I applied mini zigzags from Nail Vinyls (they’re called chevrons on the website) at the tips, then sponged over my three gradient colours: China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin, China Glaze Papaya Punch and Ciaté Hopscotch.
- Base colour: two coats of China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin
- Gradient: China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin, China Glaze Papaya Punch and Ciaté Hopscotch over a Nail Vinyls zigzag
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl
