33DC Day 14: Abstract
I am managing to keep up OK with the manicures for the Crumpet’s Nail Tarts 33 Day Challenge. Most of the time I am painting three manicures at the weekend, in preparation for the coming week. This manicure though I prepared almost a month ago, in between Day 3 and Day 4 . I was already wearing L’Oréal Amazon Flower, which is a gorgeous mid purple colour, and I decided it might be a good base for some stamping.
I chose this abstract pattern, from my Fauxnad plate M64 and stamped using Konad special polish in White.
I had a little bit of difficulty with the stamping. I was left with a few bald spots, so I filled them in by hand with my Barry M nail art pen and the result – after top coat – is almost perfect. I must remember to do this again, as my stamping is never very clean.
Here’s the upcoming challenges. I have a cracking manicure for “animals” on Friday – but no idea what I’m doing for South America as yet.
- Base colour: two coats of L’Oréal Color Riche Amazon Flower
- Intermediate top coat:Sally Hansen Insta-Dri
- Stamping polish: Konad special polish in White
- Stamping plate: Fauxnad M64
- Final top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl
Have a look at what everyone else doing the challenge has come up with:
