Chanel Bel-Argus
I’ve used Chanel Bel-Argus before, in my butterfly manicure, but this is the first time I’ve worn it on its own.
It’s a metallic, sapphire blue. But it’s also duochromatic, so you can also see (sometimes) a hint of turquoise. The duochrome is very slight, and best seen in sunlight, so while you can’t see it much in my photo, this is actually what the polish looks like most of the time.
I had no application problems. It was a little patchy on the first coat, but two coats were fine for opacity, and despite being metallic, I didn’t find that it was particularly streaky on my nails; it seemed to level out really well.
It really is a beautiful polish. I so love Chanel polishes – just wish my wallet could love them quite as much!
