Blue gradient with Barry M Blue Grape and Barry M Blueberry
I wanted to add something to my Blue Grape manicure, and decided on a gradient.
Ordinarily when doing a gradient manicure, I will start with a base coat of the lightest colour, and then sponge on both the light and dark colours together. But I didn’t do that as I was already wearing the darker colour. The upshot is that there’s a bit of an outline of Blue Grape showing in some places at the cuticle edge, which bugs me as I’m a bit of a perfectionist.
For this manicure I’ve used:
- Base colour: two coats of Barry M Blue Grape
- Intermediate top coat: Seche Vite
- Gradient: sponged on using Barry M Blue Grape and Barry M Blueberry
- Top coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip
