MUA Pistachio Ice Cream
Wow – this is my 100th post. That was quicker than I thought. I’ve written 100 posts in 5 months, so I’m averaging about 20 a month. I obviously change my polish more than I thought!
Yesterday I bought MUA Pistachio Ice Cream. I wasn’t looking for any particular polish, but I was drawn to the restyled MUA bottles. I love how they look – like mini Essie bottles. Apparently, the brushes have also had a makeover, but I didn’t have any problems with the brushes anyway, so I can’t comment on the change.
So anyway, I was admiring the bottles when I saw this shade. I seem to gradually be coming around to green – or certain shades of it anyway. I have some light-ish greens, including NYC Mint Macaroon, but nothing quite as refreshingly minty as this! And for just a pound – and with the bonus of a cute bottle – there was no way I was leaving Superdrug without it!
And I’m very glad. It looks really lovely on. It was a little thick in application, and so my two coats dried quickly and also weren’t the smoothest by the time they’d dried. For this reason, I chose Seche Vite as my top coat and it has done a wonder job on this polish, really smoothing it out. (And no shrinkage as yet).
Sorry about the picture: I’m back to using my camera phone for a bit as my husband broke one of my light bulbs. Oh, and my office, where I normally take my pictures, has temporarily become a storage area for all our kitchen items while our kitchen ceiling is being replaced. (It has asbestos in it and we had a leak, so it was deemed dangerous).

Tonight at girls night as I’m polishing a friends nails the topic of conversation was my jonesing for some new polishes.
It’s a fair cop, guv – I’m guilty as charged 😀
(You also taught me something – I had to look up the meaning of “jonesing”!!)
