Christmas Trees And Stars | 40 Great Nail Art Ideas

We’re doing Christmas a week early for 40 Great Nail Art Ideas and I have some gold Christmas trees and stars.

I first thought about this design almost a year ago when I first bought the Born Pretty Store BP-01 stamping plate. The design reminded me of a business Christmas card that I had sent some years ago. It had a black background, with gold trees and a white border, and the sky was full of large gold stars.

I wanted to try to get that same feel for my nails. I hadn’t bought the plate until after Christmas last year, so this is my first opportunity to use it.

The base is Nella Milano Raven and I stamped using Barry M Foil Effects Gold and Konad White. For the stars, I used ÜberChic Beauty 1-03. The reversed-out stars came out beautifully.

Oooh, I managed to find a picture of the Christmas card. It’s not quite as I remember it – I thought the trees were more like those on the stamping plate – but it has the same feel:

Really cute! I have the same image on my nails right now in white over ILNP’s sweater weather.

A beautiful rendering of the card! And beautiful on it’s own – love the stars with the trees!
