Bundle Monster Voodoo Lounge with white floral stamping using BM-XL07

I am wearing another Bundle Monster gel polish today. This is my favourite from the Sands of Aruba collection, a light purple (or dark lilac) called Voodoo Lounge.

I painted three coats. I think I could have left it at two coats, but I could see a tiny bit of light coming through when I held my hands up to the light. It was probably down to my patchy application, but I added the third coat anyway.

I added some stamping using Bundle Monster BM-XL07 and a white Born Pretty Store stamping polish that I received free with a recent order of stamping plates. I’m loving the Bundle Monster XL plates; so many great images at the right size for my nails.

I do love stamping over gel.  If you get it wrong, you can just remove it and re-stamp. I had to re-do my middle nail on this manicure.

This roses image is very pretty. I’m not sure I’ve noticed it before in my collection – and I have most of the Bundle Monster plates. I must look it up.

Here’s a couple of photos of Voodoo Lounge swatched on its own, before I added the stamping.

Some of the photos have come out lighter than the polish really is. The closest match is the one above, the plain swatch with my nails in a straight line.

This stamping plate is BM-XL07, the Green Thumb plate, and costs $3.99 (or you can buy it as part of a set of 10 plates for $29.99). The gel polish can be bought singly for $4.99 (or you can get the whole Sands of Aruba 6 bottle collection for $28.99).

For this manicure I’ve used:
  • Colour: three coats of Bundle Monster Voodoo Lounge (gel)
  • Gel top coat: W7 2 in 1 top coat / base coat (gel polish)
  • Stamping polish: Born Pretty Store White Stamping Polish
  • Stamping plate: Bundle Monster BM-XL07
  • Final top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

Lovely mani, that base colour is stunning! The rose image is from the 2014 CYO collection originally, plate BM-616. It’s great they release them in XL sizes as well, those original images are on the short side.

I am now a big lover of a gel base for nail vinyls, I love not having to worry about ending up with an unplanned negative space mani!

This is such a pretty manicure!
